In the name of God Amen

I Josiah NICHOLSON of Currituc Co and State of NC and being in my perfect mind and memory and do make this instrument to be my last will and testament disannulling all other will or wills and

Item I give unto my son James NICHOLSON one hundred acres of land be the same more or less adjoining the land I gave my son Griffith NICHOLSON known by a line of marked trees and two young ? to him and his heirs forever and I also give unto my son James NICHOLSON one improvement ? after the death of my wife Penelope NICHOLSON to him and his heirs forever.

Item I give unto my son Josias NICHOLSON one hundred acres of land more or less already laid out by a line of marked trees adjoining his brother James NICHOLSON and Southwardly to a ? stump to him and his heirs forever.

Item I give unto my wife Penelope NICHOLSON one hundred acres of land more or less it being the land I now live on together with the houses and all ? forever during her natural life ? I give to my wife Penelope NICHOLSON the following negros Tempy, Bethey, Sam___ and Little Lamb, Lovey and the use of Old Lamb for twelve years my desire is that Old Lamb be set free. I also give to my wife Penelope NICHOLSON on feather bed and furniture. One Cow and Calf and one Sow and Piggs And as for my other children to wit Griffith NICHOLSON, Hannah TWIFORD, Sarah TAYLOR, Sinthey CAPPS I have given them al the property I ? for them. and my desire is that my daughter Chloe shall have the negro girl Lovey after the death of my wife and my desire is that my back woods land that I bought of Griffith NICHOLSON to be sold to pay my debts and to support my wife and family and I leave and appoint my beloved wife Penelope NICHOLSON, Armistead SERLES and William BRUMSEY executors to this my last will and Testament, In witness where of I have hereunto set my hand Seals this Sixth of March in the year 1805.
