Richardson Morse
May 15, 1780 - Sept. 16, 1782
Currituck Co. Will Book 1, p. 167

I Richardson MORSE of Currituck County N. Carolina being very weak and sick but of a sound and disposing mind and memory thanks be given to Almighty God for the same do give and dispose of what worldly goods I through mercy am blessed with my manner and form following disannulling all former wills by me heretofore made ordaining this and no other to be my last will and testament.

Imprimis?  I lend to my loving wife Elizabeth MORSE during her life all my estate real and personal within doors and without.

Item - after my wife deceased I give the afor-loaned estate real and personal within doors and without to be equally divided between my son Richardson MORSE and daughter Keziah MORSE to them and their heirs forever if my son Richardson should return in this place to abide or continue.

Item - I give to my son Frances MORSE one shilling in full of his part of my estate.

Item - I give to my son Zachariah MORSE one shilling sterling in full of his part of my estate.

Item - I give to my daughter Annie ETHERIDGE one shilling sterling in full of her part of my estate.

And lastly I nominate and appoint my loving wife Elizabeth MORSE executrix of this my last will and testament I give under my hand and seal this 15th day of May 1780.
