[In the name of God Amen, this nineteenth day of April one thousand seven hundred and eighty five, I Thomas MILLER SEN. of Currituck County being in a low] State of health but of perfect mind [and memory Thanks be to God for it, do make and ordain this] instrument of writing to be my las[t will and Testament in writing and calling to mind] that it hath pleased God to bestow on me of this Worlds welth, I give [and dispose] of in the manner and form following.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Son Thomas MILLER fifty acres of land on Hatteras [Banks] it being the westermost end of George CLARKs new patent to him and and heir [for]ever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Bethiah CLARK one feather [bed] and furniture with a stript tick one small pewter dish and one pair pott tram[els] to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Son William MILLER fifty acres of land join[ing the] eastermost end of CLARKs lands and in his patent also my horse Pettea[uger] and gun unto him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Daughter, Mary BROOKS fifty acres of land [joining] George CLARKs line of his new patent, Also one bed and furniture, one [pewter pacreger] to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Betty TAYLOR fifty acres of land [join]ing Mary BROOKS and William MILLERs, Also one bed and furniture six pew[ter] spoons, English ones to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Fanny JENNETT one feather [bed] and furniture, one cow and earling and her increase, one copper tea kittle, pewter ladle to her and her heirs forever.

All the rest of my estate to be divided equally amongst my children except one case and bottles my [hand] mill and one iron pott of about ten gallons which I give unto my Son William MILLER and his heirs forever and also I appoint William MILLER my Son whole [and sole] executor to this my Last Will and Testament.
