The Last Will and Testament of Evan MILLER SEN. In Hoc Verba.

In the name of God Amen I Evan MILLER SEN. of the County of Currituck being very low and weak but of perfect memory praise therefore be to Almighty God. Do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following, That is to say --- First and principally I comment my Soul into the hand of Almighty God hoping through the Merits death and passon of my Savyre Jesus Christ to have full grace Pardon and Forgivings of all my Sins and inmorel everlasting life and my body I commet to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executor hereafter mentioned and as touching the disposing of all such temporal estate so it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me I give and dispose thereof as followeth--- First I will that my debts and funeral charges be paid and discharged.

I give my beloved Grandson Evan MILLER the plantation whereon I now live to him and his heirs for ever after his Fathers decease and likewise give to my beloved Grandson two cows and calves and one Iron Pot and two dishes of pewter and two basons to him and his heirs for ever.

I give to my beloved Grandaughter Sarah MILLER one Iron pot two pewter dishes two pewter basons to her and her heirs for ever.-

I give unto my beloved Grand-daughter Elizabeth MILLER one gold ring, one iron pot to she and her heirs for ever and likewise one cow and calf if to be found to she and her heirs for ever.

I give unto my beloved Grand-daughter Mary Ann MILLER two pewter dishes one iron pot to she and her heirs for ever.

I give unto my Gran-daughter Mary BALLANCE one large pewter dish and one half dozen pewter plates to she and her heirs for ever.

And I do hereby annul and revoke all other former wills and I leave my beloved Son Evan MILLER and my beloved Friend Caleb ETHERIDGE full and sole executors of this my Last Will and Testament In witness wher of I have hereunto set my hand and afixed my seal this fourth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty six.
