In the name of God Amen. I Thomas MERCER SEN. being veary weakly but in perfect mind and memory do make constitute and apint this my Last Will and Testament.

First of all I gave and recommend my sole to all mighty God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be burried in a christin like maner.

First I gave to my Son Malachi MERCERs two boys John and Jess the tract of land I bout of Thomas BARNARD joining the GIPESSONs also one entry to the east of said plantation in full of said boys part also Mason MERCER my Granduter to shear equl with my two Grandsuns John the Son of Ruth, Silus the Sun of Thomas.

Secondly I gave and bequeath to my Son Thomas MERCER JR. the plantation joining John MEAKIS and I. HARVIEs left in pledge agains two negroes Samps and Marvin and one hundred dolors the balance of payments of negro Will allso one negro boy named Wall, one hundred akers of seprs swamp laying against Ben TAYLORs.

Thirdly I gave to Will BELL one dollor and to Grace BELL one dolor to Thomas HOLSTED one dolor and Malachi HOLSTED one dolor and all the remaing part of my property to my Wife Mason MERCER and my Daughter Ruth at my Wife Masen MERCER death all to my daughter Ruthe and at my Daughter Ruthes death this property to be praised and equaly devided betwean Ruthes boy John and Thomas MERCER Son Silus & if the said boys die without heirs lawfuly begoton of ther body to return back in the MERCER famly nearest in blood.
