In the name of God Amen, I William McCOY, of Powells Point Currituck County and province of North Carolina, being of perfect mind memory blessed be God for it and calling to mind the frailty of nature with the shortness of life and certainty of death do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament Viz.

I lend to my Wife the during her life one half of my plantation I know live, one good bed and furniture, I lend her one cow and calf during her life and one oval table I lend her one blue chest during her life, I likewise lend unto her all my hogs, I lend to her during her life two wheels and one case of bottles and potts and all my pewter and likewise one looking glass and four chairs likewise I lend her one loom and harness and my ax and hoes I give to her one bee hive.

I give unto my Brother John McCOY my horse and half the corn and I give him the note of hand against Edward PARKER it being for eight barrels of corn and two bee hives and one coy I likewise give him one trunk and all the emty barrels and four chair frames and hand mill one table

I give to my two Sisters each three pounds apiece

Lastly I appoint my Brother John McCOY executor of this my Last Will and Testament whereof I hereto set my hand and seal this twenty eight day of June one thousand seven hundred and ninety five.
