I James McCLANEN of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina, being in good health and sound mind, do make this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills---

Imprimes I bequeath my body to the ground to be decently burried and my soul to all Almighty God hoping to find favor in his sight through tha meditor of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savor---

Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Mary all the land that I perssses to hir and hir ars forever---

Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved Brother Enoch all my shop tools to him and his ars for ever---

Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved Wife Mary all the rest of my household goods, and chtels within doors and without to hir and hiar ars forever, hearby constituting and appinting my sade Wife Mary executor of this my Last Will and Testament and I do publish and declar this to be my Last Will and Testament this day August ine the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety five and thereto affixed my seal and set my hand.
