In the name of God Amen, January the fifteenth one thousand eight hundred and three, I John MANN SEN. being sick and weak in body but of sound mind and memory, Thanks be to God for the same, I do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life, I give and divise and dispose of the same in manner and form following Viz.

Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Son John MANN the plantation whereon I now live with one hundred and fifteen acres of land to have and to hold for his own use benefit and behoof.

Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Son Samuel MANN one hundred and fifteen acres of land laying on the old plantation for his own use benefit and behoof.

Imprimis unto my three Grand Sons Edward, John, and Zadack McDONALD one hundred and fifteen acres of land to be equally divided between the three for their own use benefit and behoof.

Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Polley MANN one hundred and fifteen acres of whereon John DOWDIE now lives for her own use benefit

Imprimis My will and desire is so that all the rest of my lands shall be equally divided between my two Daughters Betsey and Nancy MANN for their own use benefit and behoof.

Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Wife Adah MANN one feather bed and furniture and one linning wheel to her for her own use and benefit

Item I give and bequeath unto Sarah McDONALD one feather bed and furniture and one linnen wheel which she now has in her own possession

Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Betsey MANN one feather bed and furniture and one linnen wheel for her own use

Item I give unto my Daughter Polley MANN one feather bed and furniture and one linnen wheel for her own use.

Item I give to my Daughter Nancy MANN one feather bed and furniture

Item I give all my cotton, wool and flax and thirty dollars to be liverd out of my estate for her own use.

Now my will and desire is so that all the remainder part of my estate that is not above mentioned shall be sold except my negro woman called Rachael and her two children and also two feather beds and furniture which I intend for my two Sons John and Samuel MANN.

likewise I constitute my well beloved friend Spence HALL and Ed. MANN my sole executors to this my Last Will and Testament and I do hereby disannull disallow and revoak all other former wills and testaments before mentioned or made by me ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament, in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above writen
