North Carolina, I Thomas LINDSEY of Currituck County being in a very pore state of health yet of a sound mind and disposing memory Thanks be to God for it do constitute nominate and appoint this my Last Will and Testament---

Item: I give and bequeath to my Son Charles LINDSEY all my land to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath my negro fellow Cornelius to my Son Charles LINDSEY to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Son Charles LINDSEY one heffer earling to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Son Charles LINDSEY two fether beads the furniture and one beadstead to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Son Charles LINDSEY one sow and nine pigs and two shots to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I lend to my Wife Susanah LINDSAY the use of all my estate within doors and without dors during her life or widowhood.

I nominate constitute and appoint my Wife Susanah LINDSEY hole and sole executor to this my Last Will and Testament signed sealed and delivered this eighteenth day of December Ano Dom 1789.
