Arther Lemount of Princess Anne Co., VA
April 27, 1795 - March 18, 1799

In the name of God Amen, I Arther LEMOUNT, of the State of Virginia in the County of Princess Ann, being verry sick and weak but of perfect mind Thanks be given to God, knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament that is to say, principaly and first of all I give and recomend my soul to God that gave it and my body to the earth asd as touching such worldly estate as it has pleased God to bless me with in this life I give and demiss and dispose of the same in the following manner and form

and first I give and bequeath to Mary my dearly beloved Wife one feather bed and furniture, one spinning wheel, I also give and bequeath to my Wife MARY two iron potts one kittle, and frying pan I also give her four sitting chairs with four plates, one bason and four bowls, these together with all my household goods, and also two hoggs to my dear beloved Wife Mary LEMOUNT wherein I likewise constitute ordain the sole executrix of this my Last Will and Testament all and singular my land messuges and tenaments by her freely to be possesed and enjoyed and I do hereby utterly disanul all every other testaments wills legacies bequeaths ratifyed in witness whereof I acknowledge my hand and seal this twenty seventh day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety five
