In the name of God Amen, I Abraham LEITCHFIELD, of the State of N. Carolina and County of Currituck, being in reasonable health and of sound and disposing mind and memory but calling to mind the mortality of my body do make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following---

Imprimis I give and bequeath my soul to God and as to such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me I give divise and dispose of in the following manner and form viz---

I leave to my Wife Mary LEITCHFIELD the use of all my lands during her natural life---

Item I give to my two Daughters Amy and Mary LEITCHFIELD all my lands to be equally divided between them begining at the N River side and runing to the exterior part of my land so as to divide the plantation equally between them as well as the woodland that is to say the southermost part to my Daughter Amy, and the nothermost part to my Daughter Mary to them and their heirs for ever.

Item I give to my two Daughters Amy and Mary my marsh to be equally divided between them to them and theirs heirs forever.

Item I leave the use of all my personal estate to my Wife Mary LEITCHFIELD during her natural life and after her decease to be equally divided between my two Daughters Amy and Mary to them and their heirs.

Lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my Wife Mary LEITCHFIELD executrix of this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking and disannulling all former wills heretofore by me made ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 7th day of August Anno dom 1789.
