In the name of God Amen, I Jacob LEETCHFIELD of the County of Currituck and Province of North Carolina being week of body but sound and perfect memory Thanks be to God for it and now calling to mind the uncartanty of this life and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die and after death to judgment first I give and recommend my sole to God who gave it and my body to the dust from whence it came to be buried at the deschiesan of my exestor heair after appointed and as for my worldly estate whairof it hath pleased God to bless me with I give and bestow as followeth.

Primmas: I give and bequeath unto my Cusing Peter LEETCHFIELD JUN. one half of my land and hous to him and his hiers forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Cuison Robart GIBSON JUN. the other half of my land and hous to be equily devided betwext these my Cuisons the land and hous to him and his heirs forever and if either of these shold die without heirs my will furthers is that it should gow to my Cursen William MAN Son of John MAN to him forever.

Item: I give to my dear friends Abraham LEETCHFIELD, Peter LEETCHFIELD, John MAN and David GIBSON what movable estate I have to be equily devided betwext them.

I constute ordain my deloved Brother Peter LEETCHFIELD exstor of this my Last Will and Testament published pronounced by me the said Jacob LEETCHFIELD to be my Last Will and Testament this 8th day of December 1774.

My will and desiar is that Gilbart HARREL may have out of the moble estate two barrells of corn and one hundred wate of pork it was left out by mistake and stated hear.
