In the name of God Amen I Elisha JINKINS of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory blessed be God for the same and do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner as follows that is to say.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Son Simon JENKINS the land and plantation whereon I now live to him and his heirs forever. I also give Simon JINKINS my horse colt and best gun with all my ??? and best feather bed and furniture and hand mill thre best chears the best small chest and all my tols to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Son Esekiel JINKINS the land and plantation that I had of John LEE that William MANES now live an to him and his heirs forever and my mare colt, large chest and table, three chears, one feather bed and furniture.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Daughter Peggy all the movabel property she has now in her possession with one stear to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Betey JINKINS one bed and furniture two kittles, one white faced cow to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Daughter Dinah JINKINS one red cow, one pott and kittle with all her Mothers clothes to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give unto my Daughter Mary JINKINS one shilling and pence.

Item: I give my pewter to be equally divided between Simon, Esekiel and Dinah JINKINS the rest of my estate I leave to be sold to defray lawful charges and the benifit of my small children and I leave my trusty friend John CAPTS my hole and sole executor to this my Last Will and Testament utterly denying and revoking all other will or wills owning confirming and establishing this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have here- unto set my hand and fixed my seal this twenty sixth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety four.
