In the name of God Amen, I Jesse JENNETT of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina, being weak of body but of sound disposing mind and memory blessed be the Almighty God for it, calling to mind the none certainty of this life and it being ordained once for all people to die. I do make and ordain this instrument of writing to contain my Last Will and Testament, disannulling and revoking all other wills and testaments to fore made by me either by word or writing and this only to be taken as my Last Will and Testament, first that is to say, I recomend my soul to Almighty God that gave it and my body to be decently in a christain like manner burried in a place where it should please my executors hereafter named and as to what worldly estate it hath been please God to bestow me for above my desarts I give and dispose in manner and form as followeth----

My will and desire is that this hundred and fifty acres of land where I now live should be sold at publick action in eighteen months after my decease for the support of my family likewise my will and desire that my loving Wife Fanny should have the use of all my moveable estate during her life time or widowhood for the support of my children and after that to be equaly divided amongst them

I also constitute and appoint my loving Wife Fanny and my friend William MILLER my whole and sole executors to this my Last Will and Testament to settle all my business according to this my Last Will and Testament and the law shall require as witness my hand and seal this 30th (sic) day of February and in the year of our Lord Anno D. 1794.
