The Last will and testament of Dorcas JASPER Decd. Exhibited and Proved at Novr. Term 1823

In the name of God amen Dorkes JESPER of the County of Currituck and State of N. Carolina do make and ordain this my last will and testament beaing of sound mind but low in Health in year of our Lord one thousand Eighteen hundred and twenty won July the 9th as follows

Item I lend and bequeath unto my beloved Daughter Betsey WHITE one negro man by the name of Davey also one feather Bedd and firniture als all of my sheap and cattel also all of the bonds and noates of hand with all of the cash that I am in perssion of at my Death or that may be due me on aney other account allso all of the houshold firniture except one trunk and one chest to her own proper use and beanifit During her natural life and should there be any thing left after her death I will that it may be Eaqually Deavided between Caleb W. BRAY and Lovey BRAY and Thomas BRAY orphins of Thomas BRAY Deceast to them and their Eairs foreaver.

Item I giv and bequeath unto Lovey BRAY one trunk to her and her Eairs for Eaver.

Item I giv and bequeath unto Betsey JARVIS one chest to her and her Eairs for Eaver.

Item and lastly of all I appoint and nominate Dennis SIMMONS my whoal and soal Exetor to this my Last will and testament as witness where unto I set my hand and seal this the 9 day of July 1821 Sign sealed and delivered in the preasance of us
