In the name of God Amen, I ELizabeth JARVIS of the County of Currituck being of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be God do this 6th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say.

First: I lend to my Daughter Winney ACKLAND one fether bed and fernitur one table one chest one dish and bason one plate which she has in persesion allso one sow shote and half the old sow and one third part of all my flax during her life and if she dies without a lawful heir begotten by her body then to be equally divided between her Brother and Sister.

Item: I lend to my Daughter Elizabeth SMITH one fether bed and furniture two chests one table one table one dish one bason one pladte one pot one heiffer one pig about the house and half my old sow one linning wheel one linning wheel one looking glass and two thirds of my flax during her life and at her death I give all the property that is lent to said Elizabeth to her Son Maxamilen SMITH to gether with one barrel of corn to him and his heirs for ever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Son Solomon JARVIS my old fether bed and furniture and my smallest table and boefat and one flat dish and one galon bason and one small sow to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Son Mercer JARVIS my best fether bed and furniture one walnut chist my bigest table one hand mill one kace of bottles 1 gallon bason 1 dish six puter plates and my best iron pot 1 skillet 1 tea kettle and pot tranmel and all the rest of my hogs and the rest of my corn and my best pork barrel to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I leave all the rest of my property after paying my debts to be equally divided between my two Daughters Elizabeth SMITH and Winney ACKLAND to them and their heirs for ever.

And I hereby make and ordane my friend Mitchel SIMMONS executor to this my Last Will and Testament in witness where of I the said Elizabeth JARVIS have to this my Last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this day and year above written.
