In the name of God Amen, I George JAMISSON SEN. of Currituck County in the State of North Carolina, being weak in body but of sound and perfect memory, Thanks be given to Almighty God for the same Therefore calling to mind the mortality of my body, and knowing it is appointed for man once to die, do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament Viz.

Principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul to God that gave it, and my body to the earth, to be buried in decent christian burial at the desecretion of my executors and as touching my worldly estate, wherewith it has pleased God to bless me in this life, I give demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form Viz----

Imprimis, I give and bequeath to my Son George JAMISSON all my lands and houses lying in Newtown Princess Anne County in firginia with all the improvements thereon, likewise my negroes, namely Christian, Green, Jack, Johannah, Judah, to him and his heirs forever---

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Son Niel JAMISSON all my plantation known by the name Little Scotland with all the improvements thereon to him and his heirs forever----

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Son John JAMISSON all my plantation know by the name of Morses Point in Currituck County in North Carolina with all the marsh land thereto belonging with all my Smiths tools to him and his heirs forever----

Item: I give to my Son John JAMISSON and my Daughter Molly WILSON all my stock of horses cattle sheep and hogs with all my household and kitchen furniture, with all my plantation utensils and also my negroes namely Owen, Pleasant Shoct Jim, Moggy, Boy Casar, Simon, Great Hannah and Silva as tenant and common to them and their heirs forever.

Item: I give to my Daughter Molly WILSON one lot of ground in the buroughs of Norfolk, which I purchased of John WILLIAMSON to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Daughter Margret HAYNES, one negroe woman named Cate and one negroe man named Jack HUNTER to her and her heirs forever----

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Sarah NESTOR, one negroe man named Sam BRAY, one negroe woman named Sunter, one negroe girl named Ferneclier one ditto named Fanny, to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto Grandson George HAYNES, my negroe boy Harry that went away with the British to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my GrandDaughter Peggy HAYNES one negroe girl known by the name of Amey to her and her heirs forever.     /s/ George [his mark] JAMISSON     seal

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Sally HAYNES one negroe girl named Jenny Daughter to Cate to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Grand Son Frances HAYNES my negroe girl named Sue, to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Thomas HAYNES, little Hannah daughter of Cate to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Erasmus HAYNES one negroe girl named Nanny to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my grandson George JAMISSON, one negroe girl named Jenny to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Sally WILSON, one negroe named Bullinder to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Grandson George NESTOR one negroe boy named Ralph to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Grandson Richard NESTOR one negroe girl named Rose to him and his heirs forever.

I will that all my just debts either by bond bill or judgement or open accounts To be equally divided among my above named children and I will that all my just debts and funeral charges be paid out of the moneys arising from the same, of the above, and lastly I constitute and appoint my worthy friend Hollowell WILLIAMS of Currituck County North Carolina, Pete NEWMAN and my Son John JAMISSON, and my Daughter Molley WILSON executors to this my Last Will and Testament and I do hereby disallow and revoke, and disannull all and every other Testament and Will Legacies and bequeeths and executors by me in any ways willed and bequeathes I confirm this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of May one thousand seven hundred and eighty four.
