In the name of God Amen.
I Nathaniel HUTCHINGS of the State of NCarolina and County of Currituck being of sound mind and perfect memory but much indisposed in body infirmities and calling to mind and knowing that it is appointed that all men shall die its my ferevent prayer that my should be by God numbered among the just and my body have a place christian like maner of burial and as to such worldly substance which it hath pleased God to bless me with I give and dispose of them in this my Last Will and Testament in the following manner. Viz.

Imprimis. I give and bequeath to my two Daughters Anis & Rebeca HUTCHINGS a piece of swamp land laying on the south side of the road that leads to Camden adjoining the land of Peter GREGORY and the North river stream to be equally divided between them and their heirs forever. I also give to my Daughter Anis HUTCHINGS one negro man named Demps to her and her heirs forever. I also give to my Daughter Rebece HUTCHINGS one negro girl named Lusee to her and her heirs forever. I also give to my two Daughters Annis & Rebecca HUTCHINGS one negro woman Grace boy Federic boy Daniel & boy Jack to be equally divided between them and their heirs forever. I also give to my two Daughters above named one feather bed and furniture apiece to them and their heirs forever. I also give to my two Daughters two horses one a sorel the other a bay to be equally divided between them & heirs. I also give to my two Daughters five head of sheep to be equally divided between them & heirs. I also give to my two Daughters all my remaining stock of cattle to be equally divided to them & heirs. I also give to my two Daughters my remaining stock of hogs to be equally divided also all my house & kitchen furniture and implements of husbandry within & without doors to be equally divided between them and their heirs forever.

I give and bequeath to my Son William HUTCHINGS one rifle gun to him and his heirs forever. I lend and bequeath to my Daughter Winiford TATUM one negro girl named Jeny during her natural life and after her death I give the said negro girl and increase to my Grandson John BELL to him and his heirs forever. I give and bequeath to my Daughter Lydia RIGHT one negro boy named Isaac to her and her heirs forever. I give and bequeath to my Son Thomas HUTCHINGS one piece of land laying to the west of my Sons house and adjoining him Abner DOZIER & my Son William HUTCHINGS to him and his heirs forever. I also appoint my Son Thomas HUTCHINGS my executor to have sole power in the management of my estate in ratification of the same I hereunto set my hand and seal the 25th day of Feby 1824.
