In the name of God Amen, I Sally HUTCHENS of Currituck County and State of North Carolina being of sound mind and memory do this sixth day of August one thousand eight hundred and twenty five make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner folowing, that is to say.

First I give and bequeath all my land to be equally divided between Major WRIGHT Son of Owen WRIGHT and Harry LEE Son of William LEE to them and their heirs forever.

I give and bequeath to my Sister Tamer WRIGHT my chest and all my wearing apparrel to her and her heirs forever.

I give and bequeath to Penny GREGORY the sum of Ten dollars

I give to Tom FULFORD the sum of ten dollars to her and her heirs

I give to Betsey PARR Daughter of Richard PARR ten dollars

I give to Nancy GREGORY Wife of Ivey GREGORY one cow 2 years old

After pay my debts out of what has not been given away, I give and bequeath the one half of the property that has not been given above to be equally divided between all my Sister Tamer WRIGHTs children.

I give and bequeath the other half to be equally divided between Wallis HUTCHENS, Harvey HUTCHENS and Amy LEE.

I make and ordain my friend James BELL my executor to this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I the said Sally HUTCHENS hath set my hand and seal the day and year above written.

County Court November Term 1825

This Will of Sally HUTCHENS was proved by the oaths of Ja. BELL and Samuel DOZIER in open Court and ordered to be recorded—when James BELL relinquished his right as executor thereto when Wallis qualified and entered in to bond as admin. With the will annexed and ordered that letter of admin. Issue
