In the name of God Amen, I Mary HUMPHRIES widow of John HUMPHRIS Esq. dec., being sick and weak in body but of a sound mind and memory, Thanks be to Almighty God for the same knowing it is appointed for all once to die and do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say,

First I recommend my soul to Almighty God who gave it and my body to be buried in a christain like manner and as touching my worldly estate I dispose of it in manner and form following----

Imprimises I give and bequeath to my Son John HUMPHRIES one fether bed, teasters, curtins and furniture as it now is, it being the same as I bought at my Husbands sale, one beafat and all in it that I have not given away only he is to buy for my Daughter Nancy HUMPHRIES one set of china of as a rich quallity as the rest of the china to him and his heirs for ever.----

I give and bequeath to my Daughter Nancy HUMPHRIES one fether bed and bolster and pillows and furniture, one half dozen silver teaspoons, also one set of china which my Son John HUMPHRIES is to buy for her _________ to her and her heirs forver----

I give and bequeath to my Daughter Lida FEREBEE one fether bed, one pair of sheets, one set of china, viz. half a dozen cups and saucers, one teapot, one milk pot, and sugar dish it being the same that Peledge WHITE bought for me to her and her heirs forever----

Lastly I nominate and appoint my Son John HUMPHRIES executor to this my Last Will and Testament ratifying this to be my Last Will in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 26th day of March 1797.
