In the name of God Amen, I William HOWE of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina being weake of body but of sound disposeing mind and memory blessed be the Almighty God for it caling to mind the nonecertainty of this life and it being ordained once for all men to die I do make and ordain this instrament of writing to contain my Last Will and Testament disneling and revoking all other wills, and testaments before maide by me either by word or writteing and this only to be tacken as my Last Will and Testament. First that is for to say I recommend my soul to Almighty God that gave it, and my body for it to be dessently in a christain like manner buried in place whare it should please my executors hearafter named and as to what worlly estate it hath bin please God to bestow me feribove my desarts I give and dispose in manner and form as followeth,

First my will and desire is that all my just debts and funeral charges should be first paid in convenant time after my descise my will and desire is that my Loving Wife Barbary I give and bequeth all the property that I have to her and her heirs lawfully begot of her body forever, with out Resarveation.

And I also constitute and appoint my Loving Wife Barbary and my friend Nina HARRISON my hole and sole executors to this my Last Will and Testament and as the law shall require, as witness my hand and seal this 17 day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine.
