In the name of God, Amen.

I Malachi HOLSTEAD of the County of Currituck, in the State of North Carolina, do this twentieth day of December, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and fourteen, make, publish, pronounce and declare this instrument of writing to be my Last will and Testament in the following manner Viz.

Item. I give and bequeath to Nancey SIMMONS, daughter of M. SIMMONS all my land and all my negroes and all my money in the hands of my guardian or else where, due to her and her heirs forever.

I nominate and appoint M. SIMMONS my executor to this my Last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Malachi HOLSTEAD have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and date above written.
