The Last Will and Testament of Mary HERVEY dec'd was Exhibited at February Term 1836 and Proven by the oath of Jno. W. HUGHS and ordered Recorded.

State of North Carolina}
    Currituck County     }

In the name of God Amen I Mary HERVEY of The State and County aforesaid being weak in body but of sound mind and disposing memory thanks be to Almighty God for the same do make the following disposal of myself and such property or estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bless me with.

   And First I resign my soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it and my body to be buried in a Christian manner at the discretion of my Executor or Executors herein after named and as to my woldly goods I dispose of them as follows viz.

   I give and bequeath all my estate both real and personal both with doors and without to my beloved Step daughter MARTHY HOLSTED (after my desease) to her and her heirs forever.

   I nominate and appoint my worthy friend William BRAY JUNR. my whole and sole executor of this my last will and Testament ratifying and confirming this to be my last will and testament.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 28th day of March in the year of our Lord 1834.
