In the name of God, Amen. I Mary HENLEY of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina, do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following viz.

Item. I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Hulday DOZIER one bed and furniture that she commonly lyes on and one blue chest, one side saddle and bridle, one negro girl Sarah to her and her heirs forever.

Item. I give to my Grand Daughters Polly and Elizabeth SIMMONS one negro boy Jacob to Elizabeth SIMMONS an trunk, and one cow and calf name Blossom, and to Polly SIMMONS and Elizabeth one bed and furniture, to Polly SIMMONS one cow and calf name Flower and one chest not painted to them and their heirs forever.

I give my Grandson John W. SIMMONS the land and my plantation I now live on, and one cow and calf by name of Filpail, and in judgment to the amount of two hundred dollars, which is now in the Sheriffs hands against Willis SIMMONS, likewise, after paying Willoughby DOZIER one hundred and sixty seven dollars that he lent me, I give the balance to Polly and Eliza SIMMONS, to them and their heirs forever.

Also I give to John W. SIMMONS one Sable spanish suder to him and his heirs forever,

also I give Huldy DOZIER one cow and calf, choice to her and her heirs forever.

I give to my Son Dory DAUGE one tract of land on fresh pond, containing forty acres, and one negro boy Thomas, and one feather bed and furniture and all the remaining part of my estate to him and his heirs forever.

I leave, constitute and appoint my Son Dory DOZIER and friend Willoughby DOZIER to be my hole and sole executors, to this my Last Will and Testament made April the fourteenth one thousand eight hundred and fifteen. I acknowledge this to be my Last Will and Testament.
