In The Name of God amen I Thomas HARRIS of the province and County afsd The Seaventh Day Of November In The Year of our Lord One Thousand Seaven hundred and forty Nine---- Being Very Sick and weak of Body but of perfect mind and Memory Thanks be Given to almighty God, Therefore, Calling To mind The mortality of My body and knowing that itt is appointed for all men once To Die Doe make and ordain ThisTo Be my Last Will and Testament That is to Say principally and first of all I Give and Recommend my Soul In to the hands of God that Gave itt me, and for my body I Recommend to the Earth to be Buried In a Christian Like and Decent manner att the Discretion of my Exrs Nothing Doughting but att the Genll Resurection I Shall Receive the same again by The mighty power of God and as Touching Such worldly Estate, wharewithall hath pleased God to bless me In This life I Give Devise and Dispose of The Same In the following manner and form---

Impremis I Give and bequeath to my Dearly Beloved Wife Elender HARRIS all my worldly Estate, Both with In Dores and with out During of her widowhood But In Case my wife Should marry my will and Desire is that my hole Estate Should Be Equally Divided amongst all my Children and further my will and Desire is that my well Beloved Son Thomas HARRIS whome I likewise Constitute, make and ordain my only and Sole Execr of this my Last will and Testament and I doe hereby Utterly Dissallow Revoke Dissanoh (?) all and Ever other former Testament & Wills begotten and Ever by me In anny ways before This Time Named Willed and bequeath Ratyfying Confirming This and No Other To be my Last will and Testament. In Witness where of I have hear of Sett My hand and fixed my Seal----

    These may Certifie that Stephen WILLIAMS & Levi STEWART two of the Evidences to the within Will came into Court & made oath on the Holy Evangealists of Almighty God that they were Present and Saw Thomas HARRIS Sign Seal & Publish & Declare the within to be & Contain his last will & Testament & that the said Thomas HARRIS was then & At that time of Sound & Disposing Memory & that they saw John LURRY the other Subscribing Evidence Sign his name thereunto at the same Time. Then also appeared Thomas HARRIS, JUNR, Exr, Ordered that the Honble Nath RUE (?), Esqr Secretary of the said province have Notice thereof that Letters Testamentary Issue thereon as the Law Directs.
