The Last Will and Testament of Leonard GREGORY decd. was Exhibited at November Term 1836 and proven by the of T. BELL and ordered Recorded.

In the name of God Amen.

I Leonard GREGORY of the County of Currituck State of North Carolina being weak of body but of perfect mind and memory blessed be God do give and bequeath all of my estate as followeth that is to say.

I give and bequeath unto my son Major one grey mare two red heifers four head of hogs also one bed and furniture

Item 2nd I give and bequeath unto my son Noah one bay mare one brown cow also one bed and furniture

Item 3rd I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah one red heifer also one bed & furniture

Item 4th I give and bequeath unto my daughter Lovey fifty cents

Item 5th I give and bequeath unto my daughter Betsey fifty cents

Item 6 I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mariah the sum of fifty cents

Item 7th I further more give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah all the remander of my estate after my just debts are paid to her & her heirs forever.

I do furthermore constitute and appoint by beloved wife Sarah my only executor to this my Last will & Testament

I witness hereof I hereunto set my hand & seal
