In the name of God amen I Larsus FLORA of the County of Currituck being in sound mind and memory thanks to the almighty God for the same I do therefore make and ordaine this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following (unreadable)

First I (unreadable) my soul unto almighty god who gave it to me and my body I give to the Earth from whom it was taken to be buried ina Christian like manner and at the discresetion of my Executors hereafter named and as for my temporal Estate I dispose of as follows

Item I give and bequeath unto my son Larsus FLORA the plantation where I now live on with fifty acres of swamp land joyning of it to him and his ears (Heirs) for ever

Item I give and bequeath unto my son Richard FLORA fifty fore acres of land I bought of George ROLEN (?) first binding on where I now live to him and his ears for ever

Item I give and bequeath unto Richard FLORA one hundred acres of land binding the head of the same land lying in the swamp to him and his ears (heirs) for ever

Item I give and bequeath unto my son William FLORA the plantation and track of land that I bought of George ROLEN (?) (unreadable) to him and his heirs for ever

Item I give and bequeath unto my dafter (daughter) Elizabeth FLORA one bead and furniter to her and her ears (heirs) for ever

Item I give and bequeath unto my dafter (daughter) Elizabeth FLORA one (unreadable) and one desk and two plates to her and her ears (heirs) for ever

Item I give and bequeath unto my dafter (daughter) Elizabeth FLORA one spinning wheel to her and her ears (heirs) for ever

Item I give and bequeath unto my dafter (daughter) Elizabeth FLORA one yoe (ewe) and lamb to her and her ears (heirs) for ever

Item I give and bequeath unto my well beloved wife Elener FLORA all the rest of my hole estate within dors and with out dors to her and her ears (heirs) for ever

Item When all my just debts and funeral charges is paid the remainder part of my estate not given away I give to be equally divided between my children then living I also apoint John ETHEREDG and my wife Elenor FLORA to be my Executors of this my last will and testament in testimony whereof I have here unto set my (unreadable) and seal this 5th day of January one thousand seven hundred and and seventy eight.
