The Last Will and Testament of Robert FEREBEE Viz.

In the name of God Amen, the twenty first day of January seventeen hundred and ninety three, I Robert FEREBEE of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina being week in body but sound and perfect mind and memory and calling to mind the uncertainty of life and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make ordain constitute and appoint this to be my Last Will and Testament Viz. I will my soul to Almighty God who gave it and my body to be decently buried at the direction of my friends and executors and as touching my worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life after settling and paing my debts.

I lend all my property both real and personal within and without to my beloved Wife Rachel during widowhood.

Item: I give and bequeath to my beloved Wife Rachel one third of my moveable property within and without.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Daughter Betsy the other two thirds of my moveable property with and without

Item: I give and bequeath to my Son William all my lands and tenaments to him and his heirs of his body forever, and if he dies without heir of his body, I give it to Betsey and her heirs of her body forever, and if they both die without heirs of their bodies-- I give the whole of the above mentioned property to my Wife Rachel and her heirs forever. If my beloved Wife Rachel should get maried and my executors should think it prudent for her to posses and use the above said property during the term of ten years from the above date let it be done.

Lastly I constitute ordain and apoint my beloved Wife Rachel FEREBEE, John PERKINS and Joseph BALLENTINE to be my whole and sole executors of this my Last Will and Testament as witness whereunto I have set my hand and fixed my seall.
