The Last Will and Testament of Dinah FENTRESS deceased was exhibited in open court at May Term 1842 and duly proved by the oaths of Hillary WILLIAMS and Edmund WILLIAMS subscribing evidences there to and the executor John B. Jones qualified ordered recorded.

   In the name of God amen.  I Dinah FENTRESS of the State of North Carolina and County of Currituck being unwell but of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form as follows.

   Item I give and bequeath negro man Jim to my son William W. FENTRESS and one bed and furniture first choice to him and his heirs for ever.

   Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann WHITE one cupboard to her and her heirs for ever.

   Item I leave the balance of my estate to be sold and after paying my just debts to be equally divided between all my children namely Lydia W. WHITE, Susan Ann WHITE and William W. FENTRESS.

   Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint John B. JONES Executor to this my last will and testament revoking all former wills by me made in witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and caused my seal to be affixed this the 26 day of February 1842.
