In the name of God, Amen. I Thomas FARROW of the County of Currituck and State of north Carolina, being sick and weak in body, but of sound disposing mind and memory, blessed be the almighty God for it, calling to mind the nune certainty of this life and it being ordained once for all people to die, I do make and ordain this instrument of writing to contain my Last Will and Testament, disanilling and revoking all other wills and testament heretofore made by me either by word or writing, and this only to be taken as my Last Will and Testament. First. That is to say, I recommend my soul to Almighty God that gave it, and my body to be decently in a christian like manner, buried in a place where it may please my excecutor hereafter named, and as to what worldy estate it hath pleased God to bestow on me far above my deserts, I give and dispose in manner and form as follows.

First. I gave and bequeath unto my Son Miles FARROW and my Son Iginatius FARROW my two plantations on Mattamuskeet to be equally divided between them tow(sic), and my Son Miles FARROW to have the plantation where Ambrose JONES now lives, and my Son Ignatius FARROW to have the plantion where John NEAL lives, it is my will and desire that my tow Sons before mentioned should pay unto my two youngest Daughters Elizabeth FARROW and Asenath FARROW fifty dollars per year for sixteen years, each Son to pay twenty five dollars yearly. I also gave unto my Son Miles FARROW fifty acres of land joining Silas FARROW eastern line. I also gave unto my little Daughter Asenath FARROW fifty acres of land joining Miles FARROWs eastward line, and James ONEAL westward line to her and her heirs forever. I gave unto my little Grand Son Joseph JENNETT thirty eight acres of land, where Jacob WILLIAMS formerly lived, joining James ONEALs eastern line, to him and his heirs forever. I gave unto my Son Nasa FARROW forty six acres and two thirds of land joining John FARROWs southern line, being part of the land my Father formerly lived on to him and his heirs forever. I gave unto my Daughter Elizabeth FARROW seventy five acres of land where Thomas BRADAY now lives to her and her heirs forever. I gave unto my Daughter Neormay JENNETT seventy five acres of land joining the land that I gave to my Daughter Elizabeth FARROW, where Thomas BRADAY now lives, runing to the north of Elizabeth FARROWs land, to her and her heirs forever. Also I gave unto my Daughter Elizabeth FARROW my hose and land whereon I now live, containing ninety eight acres to her and her heirs forever and the house to be reoved (?) Miles FARROWs land, that joins Silas FARROWs land. I gave all the rest of my land to be equally divided between my tow Sons Miles FARROW and Nasa FARROW to them and their heirs forever. I also gave unto my Son Miles FARROW one negro man by the name of Joseph to him and his heirs forever. I also gave unto my Son Nasa FARROW one negro woman by the name of Rachel to him and his heirs forever. I also gave unto my Daughter Elizabeth FARROW one negro girl by the name of Malachi to her and her heirs forever. I also gave unto my little Daughter Asenath FARROW one negro man by the name of Tonay also one negro woman by the name of Nancy to her and her heirs forever. I also gave unto my little Grandson Joseph JENNETT one negro boy by the name of Jacob to him and his heirs forever. I also gave unto my tow youngest Daughters Elizabeth FARROW and Asenath FARROW one negro by the name of Dorcus to them and their heirs forever. It is also my will and desire that my schooner boat should be sold and all my just debts to be paid out of the money arising from the sail of said boat. After all my just debts and funeral charges is paid, then I gave all the rest of my property then remaining to be equally divided among all my children as before mentioned. I do also constitute make and appoint my Son Miles FARROW and my friend John CLARK executors to this my Last Will and Testament, to settle this my estate according to law, as witness my hand and seal this 31st day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen.
