In the name of God Amen, I JACOB FARROW Sen. of the County and State of North Carolina(sic) being weak of body but of sound disposing mind and memory blessed be the Almighty God for it, calling to mind none certainty of this life and it being ordained once for all people to die I do make and ordain this instrument of writing to contain my Last Will and Testament disanulling and revoking all other writing to contain my Last Will and Testament disanulling and revoking all other Wills and Testaments to fore made by me either by word or writing and this only to be taken as my Last Will and Testament. First that is to say I recommend my soul to Almighty God that gave it and my body to be decently in a christian like manner--- buried in a place where it shall please my executors hereafter named and as to what worldly estate it hath pleased God to bestow me far above my deserts I give and dispose in manner and form as followeth.

First My will and desire is that all my just debts and funeral charges should be first paid in convenient time after my decease, my will and desire is that my beloved Son THOMAS FARROW should have all his Fathers rights of a parcel of land begining at a cedar post at the mouth of Simpson Creek and running S.5E. 540 poles then E 5 north 80 poles then north 5 west 640 poles and s. with the other corse likewise my desire is that my beloved Son THOMAS FARROW should have two hundred acres of land in Currituck County joining HEZEKIAH FARROW Sr. and joining HENRY BLACKS line on Hatterass Banks begining at a post the mouth of Wards Creek and runs S. 5 E.473 poles north the line of the patent of JACOB FARROW Jr. and HEZEKIAH old patent of JACOB FARROW Jr. to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I likewise give to my beloved Son HEZEKIAH FARROW a parcel of land begining at a large live oak corner being on the S. side of the little swanner(?) and running E. three two pattrens then along the sea beech to a cedar post on the plains East corner old paten then S. 55 west 90 poles at the head of a small creek in LAMBARDS Marsh then S. 30 west to the first station. I likewise give to my Son HEZEKIAH FARROW 50 acres of land begining at a ceder post at the plains joining his own line runing N. 24E thence across the creek to the outedge of the patent so as to conclude fifty acres of land to him and his heirs forever, I likewise give to my beloved Son JOHN FARROW fifty acres of land begining at HEZEKIAH FARROW line running N 24E thence across the creek to the outedge of the patent so as to conclude fifty acres of land to him and his heirs forever. I likewise give to my Daughter ELIZABETH FARROW fifty acres of land joining of JOHN FARROW line running N. 24E thence across the creek to the outedge of the patent S. so as to conclude fifty acres of land to him and his heirs forever (sic) I likewise give to my Daughter BARBARA FARROW fifty acres of land joining of ELIZABAETH FARROW line running N.24E. thence across the outedge of the patent so as to conclude fifty acres of land to her and hir heirs forever. I likewise give my Daughter BARBARA FARROW one hundred acres of land to be equally divided between them at the head of my land up the woods.

I likewise give to my Wife ELIZABETH one hundred acres of land with all the houses fences and tenements where I now live. I likewise give to my Son THOMAS FARROW one hundred acres of land begining at a water rah(?) running various courses of the JENNETTS line to the head of the head of the JENNETTS line then to a light- wood post in the sedge from thence with the courses of the line to make both ends of equal distance to conclude one hundred acres of my land, the remainder of my land I give to my Son JOHN FARROW likewise all my stock and moveables. I give to my Wife ELIZABETH FARROW during her natural life except my childrens creatures that is in their own brand or mark. I also constitute and appoint HEZEKIAH FARROW Sr. and HEZIKIAH FARROW Jr. my sole executors to this my Last Will and Testament and the law shall require as witness my hand and seal this 24th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine.
