In the name of God Amen
I Moses FANSHAW of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina being sick of body but of sound and perfect memory Thanks be to Almighty God for it. Calling to mind the uncertainty of this life I ordain this to be my Last Will and Testament in manner and form as follows. Viz.

Item: I give unto my Son Henry FANSHAW the land whereon I now live to him and his heirs forever known by the name of Pitt Ridge, beginning at James JARVES corner red oak then to a white oak then to an elmn at the turn-----

Item: I give unto my Son Moses FANSHAW my old plantation and all the remainder part of my land to him and his heirs forever.

Imprimis: I give and bequeath unto my well beloved Wife Grace FANSHAW all the remainer part of my estate both within and without doors------during her widowhood or her natural life and then to my Son Charles FANSHAW and Daughter Franky FANSHAW-----

Item: I do also appoint my well beloved Wife Grace FANSHAW and my trusty friend William SIMMONS to be my whole and sole executor and executrix of this my Last Will and Testament in witness, wherof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 27th day of April 1780.
