State of North Carolina Currituck County

In the name of God Amen, I Timothy ETHERIDGE, of the County and State afforesaid, being in an infirm state of health but of a sound disposing mind and memory Thanks be to God for the same do dispose of what worldly goods I have in the following manner to Viz.

Item I give and bequeath unto my two Sons Samuel and Corsey ETHERIDGE the land and plantation whereon I now live containing about two hundred acres also a piece or parcel of land in the east swamp pattened by John STANDLEY each track to be equally divided between them my Son Samuel to have the first choice.

Item I give and bequeth unto my Son Corsey ETHERIDGE one negro boy named Mingo to him and heirs also I give my Son Corsey one fether bed and furniture also one iron pot and two pair of iron pott trammels.

Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Polly one feather bed and furniture and a lage sweet gum chest.

Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Nancy one feather bed and furniture and one walnut desk.

Item It is my desire that if there should not be sufficent money on hand at my decease to pay my debts that my executors sell as much of my personal estate as will pay them.

Item I leave unto my Wife Elizabeth the use of all the remainder of my estate not before given away during her widowhood or if she marry, or at her death then the property not expressly given away to be equally divided among all my daughters.

I nominate and appoint my Son Samuel ETHERIDGE and my Son in Law Peter DAUGE my whole and sole executors to this my Last Will and Testament in testimony I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 18th of July 1794.
