North Carolina Currituck County

In the name of God Amen. I Richard ETHERIDGE of County aforesaid. being in Good Health and perfect mind and memory thanks be to God for the same, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make ordain this my Last Will and Testament.

Item: I leave all my Sound and Plantation to be sold by my executor at Publick Vandue for money giving Sic monthly credit for Ye sum and the money to be equally devided between my two sons Richard ETHERIDGE and Henry ETHERIDGE or their heirs.

Item: I give and bequeath to my son Henry ETHERIDGE one horse named Dimand to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my son Henry ETHERIDGE one mare named Pigin she and her increase to him and his heirs forever.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Grandaughter Fanney WOOLDRIDGE one church bible to her and her heirs forever.

Item: I leave all the remainder of my moveable Estate after my just Debts and Funeral charges be paid that as not before given away to be equally devided among my three children--Richard ETHERIDGE, Lydia WOOLDRIDGE, Henry ETHERIDGE and my Grandaughter Nancy ETHERIDGE and her part of my estate to be kept by my son Henry ETHERIDGE tell she comes of age to receive.

Lastly I leave Aaron BAXTER SR. in Camden County my whole and sole executor to this my Last Will and Testament revoking all other Wills by me formely made as wittness my hand and seal this Ninth day of March one thousand seven hundred and Eighty Nine.
