The last will and testament of Joel ETHERIDGE was exhibited at May Term 1838 and proved by oath of Hil. SIMMONS one of the subscribin evidences in due form of Law and ordered Recorded

In the name of God amen I Joel ETHERIDGE of the County of Currituck being weake in body but of sound memory blessed be God for it this 15th day of April 1836 make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following viz

Item I give and bequath to my daughter Lovey ETHERIDGE one feather bead and furniture one lining Wheel and then paying my just debts the ballence to go to the suport of my widow and small children. I do acknowledge this my last will and testament in presence of
