In the name of God Amen, I Caleb ETHERIDGE of Currituck County very sick but of sound and disposing memory Thanks be to God for it, knowing that I was bornd to dye do make constitute ordain and do (worn off) this to be my Last Will and Testament revoking and annulling (worn off) this testaments heartofore by me made either by word or writing (worn off) for the setling of my temporal estate I do order give and dispose of in same manner as followes to wit-----

I leave the youse (sic) of barriels and half of pork to my friend B(worn off) BRICKHOUSE two years clear of interest which pork will (worn off) due by a note of hand.

I give to my friend Jesse SIMMONS all (worn off) of hands due or demands which I have.

Item: I give to my friend Sarah WHEATLY one negro gail Sarah and all the rest of my estate within dors and without to her and her heirs forever, and I do constitute and (worn off) my friend Doyna WHEATLY to be my whole and sole executor (worn) my Last Will and Testament given under my hand and seal this (worn off) day of September 1783
