Amos Etheridge

In the name of God Amen, I Amos ETHERIDGE of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina being very sick but of sound mind and disposhell do think proper to make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form as follows:

Itam: I give to my Son JamesS ETHERIDGE my manner plantation of land wheareon I now live and all the land joining theirunto to him forever.

Itam: I give to my Son Hollowell ETHERIDGE my negrow man called Sandey and my negrow woman called Eady and all my hogs on the lands at the creek and one bed and firneture now in his procion three cows and calves and eight head of sheep at the creek to him forever.

Itam: I give to my Son James ETHERIDGE my negrow man called Joshua and my negrow woman called Juda and one horse called Dolphin to him forever.

Itam: I give to my Son Hollowell ETHERIDGE one black horse called whirleguig to him forever.

Itam: I give to my Son Hollowell ETHERIDGE one saddle and bridle mans(?).

Itam: I give to my Daughter Dinah CREED one ewe and lamb to her forever.

Itam: I give to my Son Amos ETHERIDGE Dec'd. his heirs twenty shillings a peace in money forever.

Itam: I give to my Son John ETHERIDGE Dec'd. his heirs twenty shillings a peace in money to them forever.

And all the residue of my estate bothe within and without doors to my three Daughters Ann KING, Julan SIMMONS and Mary SIMMONS to them forever.

I do heareby nominate and appoint my friend Timothy ETHERIDGE and Hollowell ETHERIDGE to be my holy and soly executors of this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have heareunto set my hand and seal this 21 day of December 1791.
