The Last will & Testament of Polly DUNTON dec'd was Exhibited in open Court at May Term 1833 and proven by the oaths of Jonathan TAYLOR & Frankey DUNTON subscribing witness thereto  Enoch BALL one of the Exors therein named Qualifyed and ordered recorded.  S. HALL CCC

In the name of God Amen I Polly DUNTON of the County of Currituck being of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be God do this 4th day of May in the year of our Lord 1833 make and publish this my Last Will & Testament in manner following that is to say

First I give and bequeath to my Son Leven DUNTON the tract of land whereon I now live on Churches Island bounded as follows begining at the sound side at Martin JARVIS line thence westardly binding said JARVIS line to the back line thence southardly to the land belonging to Nathan WALKER heirs land thence eastwardly binding said line to the sound side thence northwardly binding said sound to the first station containing 62 ½ acres be the same more or less also one piece of land on Piney Island that my Husband Levin DUNTON dec'd give me to him & his heirs for ever.

I give and bequeath to my Son Levin DUNTON one negro woman named Bridget to him and his heirs.

I give and bequeath to my Son Dennis W. DUNTON one negro girl named Sidney to him and his heirs.

Item. I leave all the remainder of my estate both within doors and with [out] to be equally divided between Sabrena POYNER, Dennis W. DUNTON, David DUNTON, Alexandria DUNTON and my Grand Son Levin BALLANCE to them and their heirs for ever.

And I hereby make and ordain my worthy friends Dennis W. DUNTON & Enoch BALL executors of this my Last Will & Testament in witness whereof I the said Polly DUNTON have set my hand and seal.
