In the name of God Amen Know all Men by these presents that I George DOUGH of County of Currituck and State of North Carrolina Am Sick and Weak of Body but of a Sound reason and Memory Thanks be unto God for that and it is so ordered that One day that all men must die I make and publish this my Will and Testament first I give and recommend my Soul to God that first gave it to me and as for what Worldly Goods that it hath pleased God to bless me with I give and dispose as follows, Viz.

Item I give and Bequeath to my son John DOUGH my Riding mare Bridle & Saddle and all my wearing apparel but my great Coat for his part of my Estate.

Item I give and Bequeath unto my Daughter Partheany WESTCOAT one Arm Chear and forty shillings in money for her part of my Estate.

Item I give and bequeath to my Son Thomas DOUGH Twenty shillings for his part of my Estate.

Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah GARRET one Large pot and Twenty Shillings for her part of my Estate.

Item I give and bequeath to my daughter Ga_lop (third letter of name is faded) Twenty Shillings for her part of my Estate

Item I give and bequeath to my son Benjamin DOUGH One Bed and furniture and one Musket(?) and Chest my great Coat and my Land and plantation which will appear by Deed of gift.

I give and bequeath to my Daughter Susanner DOUGH One Bed and Bed Stead with all the furniture one Chest and all of my late Wife Cattern DOUGH Wearing Clothing and my young mare the mare to be sold at Oction and the money put out at Interest and all of the Remaining part to be Sold Consisting of Cattle Hogs and farming Tools and the Money to Equally be divided between Benjamin and Susanner Sold by the Executor household furniture and so forth

And As Witness That This is my last will and Testament I have set my hand and fixt my Seal this 22 day of November 1790.
