Jos A. DANIEL His will
July the 5th 1856.

He wants his wife to sell all his goods that she thinks that will not be proffitable to her.  I want her to pay my depts with the money that the goods sell for and the rest take it to support the children with.  I lend it to my widdow at her death or marriedge to be equally divided among my heirs.  I want my children to be bound to Spencer HOOKER for him to attend to them.  I want them to stay with there mother as long as she can controul them.

    Currituck County     }    May Term 1860

    The within paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Jos A. DANIEL dec'd is exhibited for probate in open Court & the due execution thereof by the said Jos A. DANIEL is proved by the oath and examination of Joseph G. DANIEL one of the subscribing witnesses thereto.  It is therefore considered by the Court that the said paper writing and every part thereof is the last will & testament of the said Jos A. DANIEL and the same is ordered to be recorded & filed.
