Henry Creed
June 2, 1793 - May 22, 1797
Currituck Co. Will Book 2, p. 105

In the name of God Amen, I Henry CREED, being porely in body but of sound and disposing memory, Thanks be to God for it and do make this my Last Will in manner as followes to wit.-----

Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Diniah CREED all my estate which I have now or which is comming out of the estate of Mary CAMPBEL dec. except as much of my estate as will maintain my Son Henry CREED till he gets big enough to be bound out to her and her heirs but if my Daughter Diniah CREED should dye before she has any heir of her body I give all my Wifes close to my Daughter Sarah CREED and her heirs and all the rest of my Daughter Dinia estate to my Son Henry CREED in the cear of my friend Jesse SIMMONS as his own child to be delt with at his discresion till he cometh to lawful age not cumpelling him to give him any learning but to be raised in a christain like manner and I do leave it in the power of my executor hear after apoynted to sell all my estate and in any manner as he thinks best for the support of my two children before mentioned and I do constitue and appoynt my friend Jesse SIMMONS my hole and sole executor of this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 2nd day of June 1793
