This last will & testament having been then and there proven in due form the execution thereof duly qualified was ordered to be registered which accordingly follows in these words To wit-----

In the Name of God Amen

I Isles COOPER of Currituck County Planter and in the Province of North Carolina being in good health and of sound and perfect memory thanks be to the almighty God for all and more calling to mind thanking life and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, and as for my worldly goods whereupon it has pleased almighty God to bless me with ??? below in this manner as follows-----

Imprimis I give and bequeath to my son John COOPER one young cow to the value of twenty shillings proclamation money and that to be his full proportional part of my estate to him and his heirs forever-----

Now I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth FEREBEE one young cow to the value of twenty shillings proclamation money to be her full proportional part of my estate to her and her heirs forever-----

Now I give to my granddaughter Ann FEREBEE one young cow called Danniel and her hefer and all their increase to her and her heirs forever-----

Now I give to William BROCHTTSON (sp?) one feather bed and furniture and one cow called Cherry and her increase to him and his heirs forever-----

Now I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved wife Sarah COOPER all the remaining part of my moveable estate both within and without doors to her or her heirs forever-----

Now I constitute and ordain my dearly beloved wife Sarah COOPER my executrix and my son in law William FEREBEE and my son John COOPER executors and these be my only and sole executrix and executors of this my last will and testament and to whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this the eleventh day of July in the year of our Lord Christ One Thousand Seventeen Hundred and Sixty Two-----

Signed Sealed and Declared Published and Recorded by him Isles COOPER to be his Last Will and Testament. In Presence of us the Subscribers.
