In the name of God Amen, I Robbard BURRUS of Cape Hatteras, Pilott, in perfect health of body and perfect mind and memory Thanks be giving unto God calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent christian buriel at the discretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God, and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life, I give desire and dispose of the same in the following manner and form:

First I leave to my well beloved Wife Mary BURRUS fifty acres of land and house whereon I now live with all my houshold goods, and negro wench named Rachel, likewise my horse kind, cattle, hogs, and sheep, during her widowhood,

Also I give to my Son John BURRUS twenty five acres of the north end of my land that I leave to his Mother during her widowhood

Also I give to my Son William BURRUS the other twenty five acres of the aforesaid land

Also I give to my son John BURRUS fifty acres of land lying between Kinnekeet and Chicknicamacke beginning at the north end of Edward SCARBOROUGH line running a northerly course,

Also I give my Son William BURRUS fifty acres of land joining William WHIDBY line likewise my boat to be divided between my two Sons John BURRUS and William BURRUS.

Likewise all that I have left to my Wife Mary BURRUS during her widowhood, after I give to my four children John BURRUS, William BURRUS, Sabra BURRUS, and Zilphar BURRUS to be eqully divided between them.

I likewise constitute make and ordain Rhubin BURRUS and my Son John BURRUS sole executors of this my Last Will and Testament, and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former testament wills, legacies bequests, executors by me in any ways before named willed and bequeathed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fifth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety one
