In the name of God Amen. I Luke BROWN of the County of Currituck and State of North Carolina being of Sound perfect mind and memory blessed be God for it Do this the Sixteen day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Eighteen make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say.

First I give and bequeath to my Wife Kesier BROWN after my deceased all the property that I have after paying all my just debts during her natural life and after her death to Benjamin DOUGH her Brother and if he should die without a lawful heir it is my will and desire that Willis G. PARTRIDGE should heir the same for him and his heirs forever and I hereby make and ordain my beloved Wife Kesur BROWN executrix to this my Last Will and Testament in witness whereof I the said Luke BROWN have to this my Last Will and Testament set my hand and seal the day and year above written. Signed sealed published and declared by the said Luke BROWN the testator as his Last Will and Testament in presents of us.
