[This will was very difficult to read.  The writing was small and uneven with many tiny insertions that could not be read.]

In the name of God Amen I Richard BRIGHT of Coratuck County being Sick and weak of Body but of a perfect mind and memory thanks be to god but Calling to mind ye mortality of my body and knowing that it is ordained of all men once to die do make this my last will and testament In manor and form following first I Give and bequeath my Soul to all mighty God that gave it me hopeing and ____ing that by his ________ _______ and pashon I shall recieve it in glory heare after and my body to this Earth to be buried in Christon manor at the Deserction of my Executors heare after menchioned and my worldly goods I dispose of in manor and form as followeth.

Itom I Give and bequeath unto my well beloved Son Ephraim BRIGHT my now dweling plantation with all the land belonging to it to him and his heairs for Ever and one hand mill and one bed and one great pott and one Cow and Calf to him and his heairs for Ever.

Itom I Give and bequeath unto my well beloved Son Willm BRIGHT my plantation att moyock with all the land belonging to it to him and his heairs for Ever and the Grind Stons and one iron pott and one Cow and Calf to him and his heairs for Ever.

Itom I Give and bequeath unto all my dafters every one of them their _____ _____ that is in ____ one merror and for putor? all ther increse to them and their heairs for Ever onlay to Casiah and Elizabeth [next 2 lines are obliterated by tape] in Crease to them and their heairs for Ever.

Itom I Give and bequeath unto my well beloved wife Elizabeth BRIGHT all the rest of my hold estate on menchoned [unmentioned?] both within and with out to her and her heairs for Ever.  I rovoking all other wills and testaments by me made doe make Constuts and ordain my well beloved wife my hold and sold exectrik of this my last will and testement as witness my hand this 12th day of Desember one thousand seven hundred and thirty four -- onlay I desior that after the decease of my wife all my on menchoned estate to be Eaqually devided amongst all my children.
