In the name of god Amen, I Charles BRADLEY of the County of Currituck and State of North of North Carolina (sic) am weak in body but in my perfect sences and of in disposing mind and memory thanks be to God for the same and think proper to make and ordain this my Last Will and testmont and first of I recommend my soul to almighty who give it and my bodey to the earth and as for my worldy goods which it hath pleased almighty God to bless me with in this life I leave in the following mannar.

Itam: I give and bequth to my Son John BRADLEY my land and plantation wherein I now live beginning at a pine standing on the side of the porcon and runing by a line of marked trees to William SOREYs line and my best bead and furniture and my mill and my best chist and my trunk and one red hefer.

Itam: I give and bequth to my Son Carter BRADLEY the track of land I bought of Walton DUNDON and Half of the track of land I bought of William C. HOLT and my gun

Itam: I give and bequth to my Son Gideon BRADLEY the track of land I bought of Zachriah DOUDGE and one half of the track of land I bought of William C. HOLT and one bead and furniture.

Itam: I give and bequth to my beloved Wife Poley BRADLEY one bead and furniture one cow and calf and six of my best churs one lining wheel one wooling wheel and all the remaner of my estate I have not given in legeses after paying my lawful debts I give to my beloved Wife Poley BRADLEY during her widowhood and at her marage or death to be sold and the money raisd from thence to be equly divided between my Son Carter and my Son Gideon also I constitute and appoint my beloved Wife Poley BRADLEY my hol and sol executor of this my Last Will and testament revoking and disonuling all other wills and testmants by me made ratifing and conforming this to be my Last Will and testmont and to the ?????? I have hear unto set my hand and fix my seal this 6 day of December 1809

[Note: There is no probate date or clerk's name given in this will. Probate date is from Currituck County Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions minutes. In court minutes, executor "Poley" Bradley is called Mary Bradley].
