I David BLAKE of ye precint of Coratuck In North Carolina Being Sick & weeke in body but of good & perfitt memory & Caling to mind the uncertainty of this Life Doe make & ordaine this my Last will & Testament in maner & forme as followeth -----

Imprimes}  First I give my Soule to all mighty god who gave itt & in hope of a Joyfill Resirrection and my Body I leave to be Desently Buried according to my The Discrestion of my Executors after Named an as for my worldly Effats I _____ of itt in manner & Forme as Followeth.

Item}  I give & Bequeth To my Love Sun Thos BLAKE and my Sun David BLAKE ye Plantation I Bought of John MOXON [Mason?] to them & There heirs for Ever Equally to be Devided my Eldest Sun to have his first Choyes -----

Item.  I give & Bequeth to my Sun Tho BLAKE my long Gun to him & his heirs for Ever -----

Item.  I give & Bequeth to Mathias TOWLOR one gun.

Item.  I give & Bequeth to my Dafter Mathow BLAKE one Cow Caled Black hodg? & her Increse to her and her heirs for Ever -----

Item.  All ye Rest of my personall Estate I give to be Equally Devided amongst all my Children, that is to Say Mathow Thomas Sarah Elizabeth & David BLAKE Except three Iron pots I give as Followeth ye Bidgest to Mathow ye next Bidgest to Sarah & ye Last to Elizabeth BLAKE & to there heirs for Ever.  And Lastly my will is that Ralph MATHAM & Jno MASON I Leave hole & Solely Exeuters of this my Last will & Testement onely ye Disposoall of My Children I Dispose of as Followeth -----

Item}  I Leave my Two Suns Tho & David BLAKE to Ralph MATHAM To be Desently Brought up In a Christian Like manner.

Item}  I Leave to __ Jesee? GARVIS? my Dafter Sarah BLAKE.

Item}  I Leave to John MASON my Dafter Elizabeth BLAKE to be brought up as allowed -----

as alsoe I Leave ye Land Caled ye Blind hodge to be acknowledged to Richd SMITH to paying to my Executer herein named ye Sum of Ten? pounds for ye ____ & good of my Children above Named.  The sd Land to be acknowledged by my Executur herein Named & ye sd Richd SMITH by ______ to give my Sun Tho BLAKE two years scoling he haveing oppertunity for ye performances of ye ______ and revoakeing all other wills I Doe acknowledg this my Last will and Testement as wittnis my hand & Seale this 9th Day of October 1713?.
