Currituck Co. Will Book 1

North Carolina Currituck County in the name of God Amen I do make this my last will & testament as follows I give to my beloved wife the use of said plantation where I now dwell the use of it her life time & two horses & ten head of cattle & eight head of sheep. Iteam I give to William SMITH fifty acres of land on the Eastern line & to him & the heirs of his body lawfully begotten & if the said William SMITH dies without a heir lawfully begotten to return to the Giver & one cow & calf to the said William SMITH Iteam I give to the Elizabeth DUKENS one cow & calf a parcel of feathers that is now in the house I give to Abram LITCHFIELD & Jacob LEATCHFIELD & their heirs forever all my lands and an the plantation after the death of my wife to be equally divided between Abraham LEATCHFIELD & Jacob LEATCHFIELD & I give to Abraham LEATCHFIELD & Peter LEATCHFIELD & Jacob LEATCHFIELD all the rest of my estate to be equally divided betwixt them three; and I do leave Abraham LEATCHFIELD my Executor In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal the 28th day of November in the year of our Lord 1770
