In the name of God Amen, I Thomas ALING being very sick and weake in bodily health but of perfect and sound sence and memory, Thanks be to God for the same and calling to mind the uncertinty(sic) of this life and that it is appointed once for all men to dye, I recommend my soul into the hands of God that gave it and my body to the earth of which it was made and my worldly goods that it hath pleased Almighty God to bless me with in this life to be disposed in manner and form as follows Viz.

Item: I give and bequeath to my Son Thomas ALING the manor plantation and tract of land with all the improvements whereon I now live and possess to him and his heirs lawfully begotten of his body and if he dies with (sic) heirs to his two Sisters-------------

Item: I give and bequeath to my Daughter Betsy ALING one negro man named Tom also one feather bed and furniture also two cows and calves--------------

Item: I give and bequeath to my Daughter Julan ALING two feather beads and furniture as also all the remainder part of my stock that is not given both horses, cattle, sheep and hogs and also one lining wheal as also on scooner------------------

Item: my will and desire is that the remaining part of my estate that is not given should be sold and my just debts and expenses be paid of it and the money that remains be equly divided between my three children Thomas, Betsey and Julian--------------

Item: I give and bequeath to Jonathan WEST my wareing hat, coat, vestcoat, breaches, stockings and shuo boots.

Item: I constitute and appoint my friends Edward WEST and Obediah WEST to be my whole and sole executors of this my Last Will and Testament as witness my hand and seal this 21st day of November 1789
