Robert J. White
Robert J. White, son of John C. & Martha White, was born May 6, 1846 and died Jan. 18, 1893.  He married Sarah Elizabeth "Sallie" Whitehall (1845-1927).  Robert and Sarah and all their children are buried in the R.J. White Cemetery in Aydlett across the road from the old farm house.  Robert & Sarah had 4 children:

1) Sarah Ann White - b. Feb. 17, 1869  d. Feb. 26, 1875 of scarlet fever

2) John T. White - [see photo & information below]

3) Robert W. White - b. Sept. 5, 1873  d. Mar. 20, 1875 of scarlet fever

4) Pattie E. White - b. Mar. 10, 1880  d. Nov. 13, 1910.  She never married.

After Robert's death in 1893, Sarah married Joseph W. Beasley on May 20, 1894.  [see prenuptial agreement and Norfolk, VA divorce record]

John Thomas White was born Aug. 6, 1871 and died Dec. 20, 1941.  He married Lydia  Hampton on June 22, 1892.  Lydia was born to Haywood Hampton & Aleta Doxey on May 11, 1875.  She died Oct. 20, 1946.  They had 4 children:

1) Robert Cyril White - b. Jan. 8, 1895  d. June 7, 1976

2) Clarence B. White - b. Mar. 3, 1899  d. June 11, 1972

3) Pearl E. White - b. Oct. 27, 1900  d. Nov. 11, 1928

4. Carl Pinnell White [see photo and info below]

Carl Pinnell & Hazel Letitia (Beacham) White

Carl Pinnell White, born January 2, 1903 and died June 5, 1975, was the son of John Thomas White (Aug. 6, 1871 - Dec. 20, 1941) and Lydia Hampton (May 11, 1871 - Oct. 20, 1946).  In 1921 Carl married Letitia Hazel "Rudie" Beacham who was born Jan. 6, 1903 and died Nov. 7, 1995.  She was the daughter of Mathias Beacham (Feb. 25, 1877 - June 9, 1954) and Nettie Jane Harris (Mar. 9, 1879 - Dec. 2, 1926).  Carl & Letitia are buried in the Robert J. Cemetery in Aydlett.  They had two daughters, Hazel Audrey White and Catherine Hampton White
Hazel Audrey White was born  October 13, 1921 and died November 10, 2008.  She married Joseph Alexander Ross, Sr. on June 19, 1948. [see marriage certificate] Nettie Jane (Harris) Beacham, mother of Letitia Hazel "Rudie" (Beacham) White.  Nettie is buried in Austin Cemetery in Kitty Hawk as Nettie "Beecham".
